Being a part of a team is a fun way to raise money for a good cause! Wish 100 offers you and your team an opportunity to help grant the wishes of children battling life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Wish 100 also promotes a spirit of competition, encourages physical fitness and provides high visibility in the community. You will also be eligible for “largest team” and “top fundraising team” prizes.

Use the materials in this packet to spread the word about your team to friends, family, co-workers and neighbors. Included are recruiting and team building ideas, a solicitation letter, pledge information and information about the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of North Texas. All are reproducible so you can make as many copies as you need. Remember: Prizes will be awarded for fundraising efforts as well as to the largest team and the team that raises the most money!
Each cyclist on your team MUST register and pay the entry fee. Register online or mail in a registration form to 6655 Deseo, Irving, TX 75039 or fax it to (214) 496-9475. Entry forms must have the team’s name listed along with the team captain’s name. Please make checks out to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of North Texas. Encourage team members to sign up early!
The more donations, the more wishes that can be granted! Every dollar you raise makes a difference in the life of a child. If your team raises more than $7,000, you will be able to fully sponsor a wish. Your team will also become part of “The One” of top fundraising individuals and teams. You will be invited to the Ink Party the night before Wish 100 and your team members will be escorted to the front of the pack to start Wish 100 (see Prize Structure sheet for more information on prizes awarded). More information on the party is included in the packet. Your team will also receive a wish story of a specific wish child. Prizes will be awarded so encourage your team members to fundraise!
